The positive effect of nature on our mental and physical health is fully underlined by more and more research. Shinrin Yoku, the Japanese concept of forest bathing, is even prescribed by doctors and psychologists as a remedy for persistent stress and performance pressure. The unrest and uncertainty that prevail in today’s society show that we have lost our connection with nature. We are invited to restore this connection because natural materials, greenery and plants make us happier and instil a sense of calm. People not only love nature, we are also one with her.

Plant art and floral splendour

At Pot & Vaas, we are passionate about atmosphere and we have the green fingers required to convert wishes and ideas directly into masterful creations. We have known for years that plant art and floral splendour are indispensable in creating atmosphere in any interior or environment. An interior or design is not complete without atmospheric and carefully chosen greenery. Flowers and plants are the finishing touch and the icing on the design cake.

Indistinguishable from the real thing

Our selection of silk flowers and plants that we arrange in special pots and vases from our collection are real eye-catchers in hotel lobbies, restaurants, luxury retail stores and (semi) public office spaces. We take great pleasure in selecting the most beautiful materials every day and we combine design with nature to make sensational creations. Sometimes we let our imagination run wild. Other times, the colours, shapes and arrangements serve a precisely described design in the style and function of an interior. Artificial plants are looking ever more natural and the excellent UV filter ensures that the greenery does not discolour outside, under the influence of sunlight. Our cleaning lady actually once watered these plants and flowers, so we can safely say that our selection of artificial greenery is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.

Green artists

Our arrangers’ sense of style and the courage and confidence with which they experiment with colour combinations, materials and style mixes always result in a surprising creation. Sometimes they surprise themselves as much as they dazzle clients. Some arrangements use real wood and trunks, to which artificial flowers are attached. In this way, we create enchanting trees with a base of real branches. These lush blossom trees can adorn any entrance, loft or atrium. When we see bumblebees flying from branch to branch, we know that these trees are very good.
